hadalabo gokyujun hyaluronic lotion

when i went to japan, this is the first item that i put in my wish list. i've been seeing this toner around my instagram feed, so i'm dying to try it myself. plus, my skin has been changing more toward normal, or sometimes combination with drier cheek, so i think this will be a good product to give my skin the moisture it needs. so, when i saw it, i instantly grabbed it without any hesitance.

this is the description from global rakuten website: improved moisturizing effects with a softer feel on skin. what's super hyaluronic acid? hyaluronic acid has incredible moisture retention abilities with 1 gram yielding 6l of moisture, however, super hyaluronic acid has twice the moisture retention capabilities. other notable characteristics are its excellent compatibility with skin and its softening effect on skin.
what is nano hyaluronic acid? hyaluronic acid's average molecular size is 15-25nm. nano hyaluronic acid's molecular weight is smaller which makes it even more easily absorbed into the outermost layer of skin.
three different types of hyaluronic acid added. moisturizing effects that you can feel from the moment of application. thick, luxurious toner that feels like a beauty serum. same mild acidity as healthy skin. gentle on skin. this product is hypoallergenic, fragrance-free, oil-free, alcohol-free, and does not contain any artificial colorings.

the packaging: one thing about japanese product is that their packaging is really simple. although their makeup packaging usually is cute, their skincare packaging, however, is really simple. just like this one. it comes in a big white plastic bottle with flip top. the opening of the bottle is enough to dispense the product out without any trouble. the label is just like any japanese products, only has japanese text on it.

the scent: this is probably the second or third japanese products that doesn't have any scent. although it smells chemical, but there's definitely no fragrance in it, just like the ingredient said, no fragrance.

the product: it's just like any other toner, it looks like water and has the same consistency like water. but once i apply it on my palm and put it on my face, i can feel it's slightly slippery. and slightly sticky at first, but once it's absorbed completely, the sticky feeling vanished. i once read that you have to keep tapping until the sticky feeling is gone.

the result: i have to agree that this one will give you the moisture that your skin needs. since it takes quite some time to be absorbed, sometimes on my busy mornings, i completely forgot to continue with the rest of my morning routine and just use this and my sunscreen. and if i didn't go anywhere and don't wear any makeup, it won't make my skin greasy or oily.

but it's just that. i like that it gives me moisture so my skin feels soft and bouncy, keeps it hydrated all day. and it's cheap. but i feel something is missing. since i don't use any FTE anymore, somehow i missed my glowing skin. i don't know whether i'll repurchase this toner or not. i do like its hydration property, but i don't like how it didn't give anything else, like glowy skin or brighten my skin or improve my skin texture. although it wasn't completely its fault since it didn't promise anything else other than hydration. so i guess perhaps it's just me, i like multitasking product that i don't quite ecstatic about this product, unlike other bloggers that rave about this toner.
